United States Futsal Federation Announces Opening of a New League in Wichita, Kansas.Wichita, KS, November 3^rd, 2008

     USFF, the largest, oldest and most prestigious Futsal organization in the country, has added a new league.  The USFF League – Wichita will begin operations in the Wichita metro area.  The Wichita Futsal Association will be directing the league and will start with a winter Futsal league in January 2009 followed by a summer league in June of 2009.  Games will be played on full sized courts to allow competitive games for older age groups than are currently available.

  Wichita Futsal Association is excited to offer competitive Futsal choices for the youth of Wichita. USFF holds Regional and National Tournament tournaments every year.   US Futsal sanctions 210 leagues in all 50 states.

  Wichita Futsal Association has also been awarded the Mid-Central Regional Tournaments for 2010-2014.  This will offer teams the opportunity to compete against the best teams in the region and help grow the sport in Wichita and the surrounding area.  By bringing sanctioned and competitive Futsal to Wichita, we will be taking a step toward competing with cities that are on the cutting edge of soccer around the country.  Futsal is the only indoor game recognized by FIFA.

  USFF www.futsal.org is the largest Futsal sanctioning body in the United States.  Launched in 1980, USFF offers amateur soccer players an opportunity to play organized Futsal in local sanctioned and insured leagues.  USFF has been governing Futsal in the US since 1981.  USFF  sanctions leagues from coast to coast and offers coach and referee training at Regional and National Tournaments as well as other clinics.
